A woman was taking her child home from a playground when they were attacked by a man with a knife.
A pit that was loose (Or maybe stray) ran up growling, and their attacker ran away. The dog even stayed with them until the cops came. The dog didn't even know the woman or the kid. If that doesn't show the devotion that this breed can exibit, I don't know what will.
